The most expensive car in the world
Rolls-Royce
Boat Tail is an English car and is the car of the global aristocracy. This
luxury car was unveiled in 2021, where customers can order unique models
specially designed for them to manufacture. One copy is issued.
Features of Rolls-Royce Boat Tail
Rolls-Royce Boat
Tail is the most expensive in the world to date. Its length is 5.79 meters.
Only three copies of the car were produced. It is designed with a bulletproof
and penetration-resistant outer body, safety features, and precious metals
inside.
1- The price
23 million dollars. Their high price is due to the level of customization required, the extensive craftsmanship required, and the high-quality materials used in their manufacture.
The price of
the new car exceeds the price of two other cars, each of which was the most
expensive in the world, namely the special Rolls-Royce Sweptail, which was
produced in 2017 at 14 million dollars, in addition to the “Bugatti” car, which
was shown for the first time in 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show.
2- The engine
It's powered
by a 536bhp 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12, but performance isn't the primary
focus here, it's the luxury and exclusivity of the car that takes center stage.
3- The design
Inspired by the 'boat tail' of the Rolls-Royce cars of the 1920s and 1930s. The design of the convertible resembles a luxury yacht on land.
The rear
design of the car, which is 5.8 meters long, resembles the deck of a yacht and
has 4 seats. It is a model that comes with the company launching a new division
in its business, which it calls Coachbuild, which is known as an
invitation-only program that allows the company’s wealthy clients to order
unique, convertible cars.
4- Hosting suite
The most
attractive features are centered around its aft deck, a modern interpretation
of a wood aft deck, supported by brushed stainless steel inlays. With the push
of a button, it opens like the sweeping wings of a butterfly to reveal a
“hosting suite” set up for outdoor entertaining where the refrigerator, double
champagne cooler, Custom cutlery and crockery, and even a custom-designed
umbrella.
The interior
features the luxury you would expect from a Rolls-Royce, custom-designed
according to the customer's preferences.
The clock on
the dashboard can also be removed and worn as a watch, a feature made possible
in partnership with luxury Swiss watchmaker BOVET 1822.
Customer participation in design
Each unit of
the new car was designed for its buyers, who cooperated with designers for 4
years within the framework of the invitation-only program. It came out
beautiful, because the customer participated in every step of the journey that
ended with its creation as intended for lovers of sitting in the open air or on
the beach, as it includes matching chairs. An umbrella extends automatically at
the back of the car, whose manufacturer has exclusively modified the cabin so
that its owner can place his wristwatches inside it.
